My name is Amy and I have a great passion for bringing healing to people who have been through a traumatic or stressful experience. When human beings experience trauma, or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. I can assist you in finding healthy perceptions of yourself and strengthen your relationships so you can have peace, feel complete, and safe. I understand there is no single approach for every individual and will custom your treatment to best serve you.
I graduated with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of the Cumberlands in 2021. Previously I worked as a crisis counselor on the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. I have also worked with individuals who have lost their loved ones in the military. I am currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern working towards licensure in the state of Florida and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I have certifications in thanatology, crisis, and I am EMDR-trained.
