Jerry Kuhn
Many of the people who begin therapy with me are used to handling things on their own. From the outside, life may look manageable. Internally, they may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, or affected by difficult experiences that continue to influence the present.
I work with adolescents and adults who want to better understand what they are experiencing and begin developing practical ways to move forward. My approach focuses on helping clients slow things down, build emotional awareness, and develop tools that support greater stability in daily life.
In our work together, we may focus on reducing anxiety, improving mood and motivation, and working through trauma in a safe and supportive way. Therapy is not about fixing who you are. It is about helping you develop the clarity and skills needed to feel more grounded and confident in navigating life’s challenges.
My goal is to create a calm, respectful environment where therapy feels structured, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward.
Starting therapy can feel uncertain. Many people begin unsure of where to start.
My goal is to create a calm, respectful environment where you can talk openly and begin making sense of what you are experiencing.
Over time, therapy focuses on identifying patterns, building practical tools, and helping you feel steadier and more confident as you navigate life.
