Try the Cortina Method at Lemon Bay Mental Wellness Center in Englewood, FL

Heal from Trauma Without Reliving the Pain

Are you feeling stuck because of something hard that happened in your life? The Cortina Method (TCM) might help you feel better—without needing to talk through all the painful details.

What is the Cortina Method?

The Cortina Method is a gentle way to help your brain heal from past trauma. It’s based on modern brain science and helps you let go of old pain—sometimes in just 1 or 2 visits.

TCM is different from regular therapy

You don’t have to go back and relive the bad memories. Your therapist does most of the talking and guides you through calm and simple exercises that help clear stress, body tension, or unhelpful thoughts.

It’s Not Traditional Talk Therapy

  • You don’t need a diagnosis.
  • It’s not about how long each session lasts.
  • We focus on what’s stuck—something that’s holding you back.

Once that stuck feeling is gone, your mind and body can feel stronger, more peaceful, and ready to move forward.

Private Sessions Just for You

Since TCM is not ongoing talk therapy and doesn’t involve a medical diagnosis, it is not covered by insurance. It is a private-pay service, and the cost depends on what you need. We’ll talk about that during your free 20-minute Discovery Call.
