My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing what you are experiencing.

I have a particular passion for working with adolescents and young adults who are navigating periods of change, while also welcoming individuals of all ages. I often work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life challenges that can make daily life feel difficult or uncertain.

How I work

In therapy I focus on helping clients better understand their thoughts and emotions while developing practical tools that support greater emotional stability and confidence. Together we work to identify patterns, build on your strengths, and create meaningful progress toward improved mental and emotional well-being.

My goal is to provide a respectful and supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged as you move forward.

Supervised practice

As a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Skylar practices under the clinical supervision of Jerry Kuhn, LMHC, LPC-MHSP. Sessions with Skylar are offered at a reduced rate, which can make consistent weekly counseling more accessible.
